Burlington’s two Topper’s Pizza locations were among 40 across Ontario to raise $1,000 for Forests Ontario to plant 250 trees.

In celebration of Earth Day last month, Topper’s pledged to donate $1 to plant trees with the purchase of any of their Traditional Pizzas.

“This is the first year we have done a promotion like this and our customers responded so well to it,” said Stewart Barton, director of marketing and communications for Topper’s Pizza Canada. “To raise $1,000 in a one-day effort shows how much people care about the earth and want to make a difference. We’re thrilled with our customers’ enthusiasm and support around this campaign.”

Topper’s Pizza and their customers ensure more trees are planted across the province this spring, said Rob Keen, CEO, Forests Ontario
