At Topperʼs, pizza is tradition. And at the heart of every Topperʼs pizza is our rustic Italian crust, made fresh daily from a dough recipe thatʼs been a Toppazzini family secret for over a century. Since our humble beginnings over 40 years ago as a bakery turned local pizzeria in Northern Ontario, pizza has been our passion.
From game days, to birthdays, to those nights you just can’t decide what to eat, we’re here to make every moment a tradition. So whether you’re curled up on the couch with your favourite movie, or around the table sharing stories with the people you love, we want to be there, helping you create the warmest, most delicious memories.
WHO WE ARE
We’ve been making traditions since 1904. Our story starts over a hundred years ago when Giuseppe Toppazzini moved his family from San Daniele Italy to Copper Cliff, Ontario. With his family’s bread dough recipe, ingenuity and determination the Toppazzini bakery was born and became a staple in the community. In fact, the name is still recognized today in Sudbury, Ontario.
Time has passed and things have changed, but the core of who we are has stayed constant, like our dough recipe. Still a family secret, our dough is the reason that when you have a Topper’s pizza, it’s rare to find crusts left on the plate.
